Rebekah Raye and Kim Ridley win John Burroughs Riverby award for the second time!

Three of the winners: Bernd Heinrich for outstanding nature essay of 2016, “Chickadees in Winter,” published in Natural History Magazine.

Kim Ridley who, with Rebekah Raye, received the Riverby Award honoring exceptional nature writing for young readers for their book “The Secret Bay.”

And John Burroughs Medal winner Sharman Apt Russell for her book “Diary of a Citizen Scientist: Chasing Tiger Beetles and Other New Ways of Engaging the World.”
